Rosebud Academy is in full bloom: we are rebranding as Rosebud Centre For Girls. We will continue to provide exclusive support services free of charge to young women under 19. Our new website is now www.rosebudcentre.org and our social networking links have updated accordingly.
We have also relocated to new premises: visit us at the historic Clockhouse Community Centre, Defiance Walk, Woolwich Dockyard, London SE18 5QL. At our new centre, we can accommodate even more of you, (up to 20 participants per workshop) with facilities for various workshops such as Cookery Club, Music Production and Drama; so register here if you haven’t done so already.
Our new location is very easily accessible: buses 161, 177, 180, 380 and 472 all stop right in front of the Centre. We are only 2 minutes walk to Woolwich Dockyard station and a short 10 minutes walk to Woolwich Arsernal station, making us accessible to people attending from Lewisham, Peckham, Blackheath, Greenwich, Charlton, Woolwich, Thamesmead, and Abbey Wood. We are a short 5 minutes walk to the Woolwich Ferry making us very easily accessible from East London: North Woolwich, Beckton, Custom House, and Canning Town.
Opening times are also extended: Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm and Saturdays 10am – 4pm.
